Regina Kim is a London-based Korean visual artist whose practice examines human existence, the senses, the body, and the spirit within the digital age, under the overarching theme of The Body Frame and The Edited Human. Her work explores how technology edits, reshapes, and fragments human perception, while questioning what remains irreducibly human.
Through the use of intense colours and disparate imagery, she constructs surreal and fantastical spaces that function as alternative realities. Her practice transcends the boundaries of medium, expanding from two-dimensional works into moving image, media art, and three-dimensional installations, while fluidly navigating between fine art and commercial contexts.
Her notable career highlights include collaborations with K-pop artists such as Billlie and (G)I-DLE, as well as projects with global brands and musicians including Porsche, SK Hynix, Playboy, Baskin-Robbins, New Era, and Maroon 5. Regina Kim has established her presence as a global artist through exhibitions at internationally recognised venues including Saatchi Gallery and Outernet in London, as well as Times Square in New York.
Her practice continues to explore new visual languages that reflect the complex relationship between digital systems and human sensibility.
