My work is a series of four works about Korean history. The first is "Murder", the second is "Conquer: the fake sun", the third is "Independence", and the last is "Destruction". Four of them symbolically illustrate the time when Korea was occupied by Japan over time.
The first shows that Japan has driven a stake into mountains and lands to break the spirit of our country.
The second "Conquer: the fake sun" built the Japanese government building in front of the Korean royal palace in Korea, breaking Korea 's spirit. Japanese imperialists instituted a policy to obliterate Korean culture.
The third piece, "Independence" symbolizes our independence and celebrated independence by hanging our flags on the building that Japan built.
The fourth work, "Destruction", declared our complete independence as the Korean government broke down Japanese architecture.
Architecture has a great function of not only the purpose of space but also the symbol. The power of architecture is strong enough to represent history. So I expressed our sad Korean history through the architectures.

나의 작품은 한국 역사에 관한 4개의 작품 시리즈이다. 첫 번째는 "살인자"이고, 두 번째는 "정복자: 가짜 태양"이고, 세 번째는 "독립자"이고, 마지막은 "파괴자"이다. 그 중 4가지는 한국이 시간이 흐르면서 일본에 점령당했던 시대를 상징적으로 보여준다.
첫 번째는 일본이 우리나라의 정신을 꺾기 위해 산과 땅에 말뚝을 박았다는 것을 보여준다.
두 번째 '정복: 가짜 태양'은 한국의 왕궁 앞에 일본 정부 청사를 지어 한국의 정신을 깨뜨렸다. 일본 제국주의자들은 한국 문화를 말살하는 정책을 시행했다.
세 번째 작품인 '독립'은 일본이 지은 건물에 우리의 깃발을 걸어 우리의 독립을 상징하고 독립을 축하했다.
네 번째 작품인 '파괴'는 한국 정부가 일본의 건축물을 무너뜨리면서 우리의 완전한 독립을 선언했다.
