Where is our voice?
Women have mouths, but it does not have enough social function. Women can taste and eat food, but it is challenging to express their opinions through their mouths because the invisible hand is covering women's mouth. It is a stereotype that women should be elegant and quiet. So women are afraid and frightened to confess to their friends and family honestly about what they have experienced bad things like sexual abuse. Also, the social atmosphere and the gaze of others ignore women's claims. Woman's mouth is not only for eating, but it is also a means of expressing their minds and thoughts. If women want to show their presence, they must be able to speak their story.
우리 목소리는 어디에 있는가?
여성들에게 입이 존재하지만, 그 입은 충분한 사회적 기능을 가지고 있지 않다. 여성들은 입을 통해 음식을 맛보고, 먹을 수 있지만, 보이지 않는 손이 여성의 입을 가리고 있기 때문에 본인의 입으로 자신의 의견을 표현하는 것이 큰 용기가 필요하다. 여성은 우아하고 조용해야 한다는 것이 우리 과거의 성고정관념이다. 그래서 여성들은 그들이 성적 학대와 같은 나쁜 일들을 겪은 것에 대해 솔직하게 친구들과 가족에게 고백하는 것을 두려워한다. 또한, 사회적 분위기와 다른 사람들의 시선이 여성의 주장을 무시하기도 한다. 여성의 입은 미각을 느끼는 것 뿐만 아니라 그들의 마음과 생각을 표현하는 도구이다. 여성들은 스스로의 존재를 보여주고 싶다면, 그들의 이야기를 용기를 내요 할 수 있어야 한다.
