The Last Rumour

  I think about how to deal with rumour among the people who stir up a rumour without substantial evidence. So, I think we must have an attitude to not to speak if we don’t see it or hear directly from someone.  I am inspired by "The Last Supper" and draw some people who start rumours and someone whom nothing can shake his or her assurance even at rumours in the middle, the position for Jejus.

  It is the truth obviously that we can not be free from rumours. But, only if we have an objective perspective of the main character in “The last Rumour”, I can say that we are free of those rumours anymore. 

실질적인 증거와 근거 없이 루머를 불러 일으키는 사람들 사이에서 루머를 어떻게 다룰지 생각했다. 그래서, 우리가 그것을 목격하지 못하거나 누군가에게 직접 듣지 않았다면 퍼트리지 말아야 한다는 태도를 가져야 한다고 생각해요. '최후의 만찬'에서 영감을 받아 소문을 시작하는 사람들과 소문에 의해 휘둘리지 않는 사람을 예수님의 중간 자리에 그렸다. 

물론, 우리가 소문으로부터 자유로울 수 없다는 것은 분명한 사실이다. 

다만 '마지막 루머' 속 주인공처럼 객관적인 시각이 있어야 그러한 루머의 파도 속에서 우리는 조금 더 자유로울 수 있다.
